ASV TEEN DRAMA CLUB

Saturdays 10-12

Join our English‑language teen drama club and enjoy the freedom to create, discover and explore who you are, whether you choose to act or get involved in stage management.

Objectives:

• Learn how to express yourself theatrically in English.
• Practice skills such as improv, monologues, scene work, character development, theater tech and more!
• Stage and perform a play.

Themes:

Building Ensemble

• Theatre Etiquette
• Theatre Vocabulary

Pantomime/Tableau

• Tell a story through movement
• Collaborate with partners
• Learn to use levels, expression, focus

Monologues

• Work on and perform a monologue
• Employ voice, body, imagination

Improvisation

• Learn improv rules
• Employ voice, body, imagination
• C.R.O.W

Set Design

• Basic Tech Theatre

Performance

• Audition/Rehearse/Perform

Membership is free and the only requirements are to:

• Show up.
• Listen and learn
• Be willing to take risks
• Work hard
• Be kind at all times

Required Materials:

• Notebook
• Pencil or pen
• A good attitude
• Self control
• Imagination

General Rules:

There are only three rules for the ASV Teen Drama Club.

1. Be present & give 100%.
2. Always show respect for one another
3. No electronic devices are to be used while we are in session.

Also remember that if you are given a role in a play or performance and do not prepare properly on your own time or follow directions to the best of your ability, your role will be given to someone else.
